Cold and not personable or friendly

There was no transparency about the clinic’s policy prohibiting ADHD medication prescriptions (including non-stimulants) without formal testing results—a policy that was not disclosed until nearly 50 minutes into the appointment. During that time, I was asked to recount complex trauma history point by point, despite having clearly stated at the start that my goal was to establish continuity of care by maintaining a medication regimen that has been stable for decades. The experience felt inhumane and deeply unnecessary, as this information could have been communicated upfront and spared significant emotional distress.
