“? the front desk staff were very friendly and communicated everything very well. When I was taking back into a room, the lady that took me back was very straightforward and not much emotion or welcoming. The doctor was very nice and clear when answering questions. It seems that they have their schedules very booked, which seems why the staff in the back works very quickly and don’t take too much time to interact with the patient. When coming it’s best to have a list of all your questions ready because they only addressed what I brought up rather than what they saw. Overall, it was a good visit. I just would like if the doctor in the staff in the back communicated a little more and more personable to make the experience more comfortable. However, the doctor is very knowledgeable and will get done what you need to get done. Which is also a very good plus.?”

About Dr. Kassahun Bilcha
Dr. Kassahun Bilcha is an internationally renowned board-certified dermatologist with years of experience in treating skin diseases, teaching, and mentoring. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Gondar College of Medicine and Health Sciences in Ethiopia. He completed both his internship and dermatology residency at Emory University in Atlanta and pursued a research fellowship at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He also received prior training at Addis Ababa and Gondar Universities in Ethiopia, where he served in various managerial positions.
Dr. Bilcha has been extensively involved in global health and has taken part in numerous research and training opportunities across many countries. He has traveled widely throughout the world.
His expertise in dermatology includes managing adults and children with general dermatologic conditions such as skin cancer, acne, vitiligo, eczema, psoriasis, itching, and other skin inflammations. He performs skin and nail surgeries for the removal of cancerous and non-cancerous conditions. Other services provided by Dr. Bilcha include chemical peels, botulinum (Botox) injections, and facial fillers.
In his spare time, Dr. Kassahun Bilcha enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and three children.

Dr. Bilcha was completely thorough and professional, however, I’m sorry to say I don’t think I will be back again. He reminded me why I don’t normally book with male doctors. It was a very sterile and cold experience. I tried making some jokes to ease the experience, to no effect. I left feeling like cattle to be completely honest. Even the female med assistant was cold.

I barely finished my paperwork when I was called back. I was seen very quickly and addressed my main concern. The staff and doctor were all very polite and treated me with respect. I already scheduled my annual exam for next year. I would recommend Dr. Bilcha based on my most recent visit.
