“I've been seeing Kate for over a year. She's been amazing to work with. She takes her time to listen to my concerns and takes those concerns into consideration of my treatment plan. This is a huge change from a previous provider (not affiliated with Lifestance) where my concerns were never heard or addressed. It was always "here, let's increase your dose" and sent me on my way. Kate takes the time to listen and come to the best resolution.”

Getting to know Kate Donahue
Kate is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP). She provides individualized, evidence-based care and educates patients and families to empower them to make informed decisions about their mental health treatment. Kate understands that seeking mental health treatment for yourself or your child can be a confusing and challenging process and will be with you every step of the way. She has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and offers LGBTQ+ affirming mental health care.
Kate provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management services for children (ages 6-12), adolescents (ages 13-17), and young adults (ages 18-40). She treats a wide spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, and women’s mental health disorders such as premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and prenatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.
Kate earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Xavier University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including outpatient psychiatry, residential treatment for eating disorders, electroconvulsive therapy, and women’s health.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Kate enjoys spending time with her family. Some of her favorite hobbies include skiing, hiking, kayaking, embroidery, and baking.

I absolutely love seeing Kate Donahue! She has helped me tremendously. It is hard to find a health care provider that is consistent and listens to you and your concerns. I feel heard and I know I can always count on her to reply quickly if needed and for my prescription refill requests to be filled quickly as well. It feels nice to have a health care provider that I can count on, very rare these days
