Katerina Hatzigeorgiou is board certified Physician Associate with a decade of experience in both addiction medicine and general psychiatry. She is passionate about reducing stigma attached to the mental health field and providing a safe space where every patient feels heard, supported and actively involved in their treatment journey.
Katerina obtained her B.A. in Natural Sciences from Fordham College at Lincoln Center and her M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from Rutgers University. Over the course of her education she was able to nurture her love of the arts & sciences and appreciate the value of human connection and networking. She is a firm believer in approaching patients as a whole- taking into consideration their histories and environmental factors, while using evidence based medicine to develop coping skills and incorporate lifestyle changes that can lead to long term stability and resilience.
