About Dr. Katherine Coffey

Dr. Coffey founded Coffey Eye Care in 1992 and expanded the practice notably until partnering with MyEyeDr in 2020. She resides in Quincy and is a Dorchester native who attended Msgr. Ryan Memorial High School. She is a proud member of OFD and is a history buff, and loves traveling. Besides maintaining her own practice, she previously held appointments as adjunct faculty at the New England College of Optometry and staff optometrist at the Mass. Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is a past president of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists. She previously served on the Board of Trustees of the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Coffey sees patients of all ages with a special interest in contact lenses. She believes in patient education as a foundation to patient care (ask as many questions as you wish!).
