About Katherine Talson
Katherine Talson, MSN, CRNP is a board certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic Dermatology. Katherine trained in Boston, Massachusetts where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing where she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau honors society. Katherine treats a variety of chronic and acute skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, rashes, acne (including isotretinoin commonly known as Accutane), warts, scars, hair loss, excisions, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, hidradenitis suppurative and more. She is well versed is laser treatments, micro needling and neurotoxin injections.
She is passionate about patient education and counseling to provide comprehensive care for her patients.

First time visiting this place and I felt a little bit rushed, I had couple concerns and they were barely looked at. Probably spent like 10 minutes in front of the specialist and I wonder how would that be enough to get diagnosed. We’ll see how this treatment goes but I feel like it was took unserious and they prioritized time than quality

My whole experience was fantastic! Super easy booking with Zocdoc, was able to book an appointment for the very next day!! AA Dermatology gets 5 stars for customer service. Checking in at the front desk was a very pleasant experience as all of the girls at the desk were super polite & actually smiled!?? Katherine was amazing as well—Super knowledgeable & did a very thorough exam & also was very friendly. She was very patient with answering all of my questions —I didn’t feel rushed at all.

This was the first recommended screening for skin cancer. This also was my first appointment with this particular dermatology group. I arrived early and was given a tablet to check in and fill out additional paperwork. This took upwards of 30-minutes and , my appointment was delayed because of the paperwork. There was an additional wait for the provider once in the room. The assistant was very friendly and explained what would happen. The provider was professional, and answered questions I had. The exam itself about 15-minutes and I felt as though the provider was rushed.

Had a mole on my eyelid that I wanted removed and she said they dont do anything around the eye. She supposedly removed a mole from my breast that attempted to burn off and she said would fall off in a week and it is still there so will be looking for another doc to do these things.
