About Katie Rodriguez
Katie Rodriguez is a certified Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner with over 6 years of experience. She earned her Master’s in Adult Gerontology Nursing from Adelphi University. Before joining Manhasset Primary Care, Katie worked with the St. Francis Hospital Internal Medicine Team. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was an emergency room nurse at South Nassau Hospital and Good Samaritan. Katie’s experience has helped her identify acute illnesses and ailments in the primary care setting while also preventing the catastrophes that can occur when chronic disease is untreated and undetected. Her goal is to make patients feel comfortable and to establish goals and a plan of care together. Other than the rude front desk member (an African-American lady, not the Hispanic one), Katie Rodriguez was THE BEST. She took her time on my appointment, listened to my concerns, checked me and referred me to some specialist, it’s my first time having insurance and also my first time going to an official Dr’s Visit as an adult and I must say I’m glad I got to meet her. I’ll definetly put her as my PCP and keep coming back to her for my yearly visits.
