I received my Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Emory University and a Post-Masters in Psychiatry at Maryville University. My approach My approach to care is to incorporate both specialties so that I can provide a holistic approach that will treat the whole person; mind body and soul. I strive to focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of issues to promote overall well-being. My focus The patients I typically work with are those who have struggled or have challenges with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, ADHD, and PTSD. My communication style The communication style that I use with my patients is compassionate, clear, and concise. I believe we are not able to effectively connect with the client if they do not first believe we care and can sympathize with them along their journey. I like to be clear and concise when advising them on the risks, benefits, side effects, and alternative treatments that will be best for them. I also like for my patients to feel heard and understand this is a judgment-free zone. My first session with you My goal is to educate and empower patients to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance their mental well-being and lead a high-quality life. I offer an individualized, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.
