About Dr. Kavita Goyal
Dr. Kavita Goyal specializes in general dermatology, seeing adults and children ages 2 and up, for a variety of issues. She also performs full body skin exams and skin surgery. She does cosmetic procedures including Botox and fillers. She strives to provide the best care possible for all of her patients.
We are conveniently located in the Leisure World shopping center in Silver Spring, MD right off of the ICC (MD 200).
Please wear a mask and make sure to bring your ID and insurance cards to your appointment. We collect co-pays and co-insurance payments at the time of service. Thank you!
Biography
Dr. Goyal grew up in Maryland. She graduated Summa cum Laude from the accelerated 7-year B.S./M.D. program at Drexel University in Philadelphia. During medical school, Dr. Goyal participated in a year-long research fellowship in pathology at Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She received her M.D. from Drexel University College of Medicine as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society.
She returned to Washington, DC for her intern year in internal medicine at the George Washington University Hospital. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota. During her time there, she contributed to a number of publications in many prestigious journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

She was amazing, had a great bedside manor. Didn’t judge me for spending time at the beach and on the boat. I went in for a baseline skin / mole check - no concerns but suggested that I keep using 30spf and annual skin checks.

My appointment with Dr. Kavita Goyal was fantastic. She is a great listener, provided clear and understandable counsel, and made sure all my questions were answered during our appointment. Dr. Goyal has a great bedside manners as well. Very calming although I was clearly stressed out about my condition. I strongly recommend Dr. Goyal if you're looing for a dermatologist. Truly top notch!
