About Kay Love

In family medicine, I am fortunate to build relationships with patients of all ages. Caring for people in all stages of life allows me to become a familiar, trusted part of their healthcare journey over time. Some visits are about managing chronic illness, others are about prevention, and some are simply about making someone feel heard. All are equally important. I know people will remember how I made them feel just as much as the treatment I provided. That is why, regardless of how advanced technology gets, healthcare must remain human and based on personal connections. Healthcare should not be something done to patients; it should be a partnership. My job is to ask the right question and listen to the answers so then my patients and I together can determine the best way to address any concerns. I consider each patient's lifestyle, habits and priorities, because those are just as important as any symptoms. If a plan isn't working, we adjust it. I take my responsibility as a chosen medical provider seriously. My goal is for every patient to feel informed, respected, and confident in the plan as well as the person guiding it. I am married and have two adult children. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs, working in our garden, tending our chickens or simply sitting quietly on our porch enjoying a sunset. You can often find me in the kitchen trying new recipes, canning vegetables from the garden, or making jams and jellies to share with family and friends.
