About Dr. Keisha Mcewen
Keisha E. McEwen, MD, FACOG
OB/GYN Keisha McEwen, MD, FACOG, is the owner and medical director of KEM Health in Atlanta, Georgia.
A proud native of Atlanta, Dr. McEwen was born at the very hospital she works and delivers babies at, Emory University Hospital Midtown (formerly known as Emory Crawford Long Hospital). Dr. McEwen earned her undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University in Nashville and her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
Dr. McEwen has a passion for taking care of women. She enjoys delivering babies but has a particular interest in surgery. Her interests include adolescent medicine, minimally invasive surgery, and endometriosis management. She treats a wide range of problems affecting women from high-risk pregnancies to menopausal care.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and traveling.

I had terrible pain from a UTI, and I also went for my pap smear. My pap smear results said my cells were abnormal and I called the office immediately and asked if I need additional testing because my family has a history of multiple different cancers. I explained this to the front desk lady, and she kept repeating the note "Monitor it and follow up next year". I never got any explanation as to why my cells were abnormal. Also, the doctor just gave me standard antibiotics without taking my case in consideration. She said she would call if I needed to change my prescription and I never got to call so I assumed it was fine. My UTI is still present, and I have to go to another doctor and take another sick day.

The Appointments here are quick and easy. They get you in and out and always remember to schedule follow-up appointments. It is worth the 1hr 15minute commute. My new home.

As a Licensed Medicare Sales Insurance Agent I am appalled that this provider failed to inform me in a timely manner about their new patient expectations that offers NO GRACE PERIOD for late arrivals. I scheduled the appt about a month ago and I received an email today telling me I had to arrive 30mins prior otherwise I would not be seen. I already had an appointment scheduled prior to this one but I got in a $25 uber ride aware that I was only going to be a minute late. 10 minutes to my appointment while in traffic I get a call from the office reiterating the email info and telling me that they will have to reschedule in which I informed them I wouldn’t so I was offered to speak with management regarding the issue which I agreed & was cold transferred to a voicemail. I could not book a round trip for the uber I was in since he was picking someone else up so I tried to go to the appointment anyway. You’re not offered a floor or suite number so I was a total of 10mins late & denied svc

The new patient process prior to seeing a doctor from my experience seemed very unorganized, uncaring and drawn out. I'm still trying to decide if I want to keep or cancel my appointment for pellet insertion. It's been a month since my pellet consultation and I'm having a very difficult time with my menopausal symptoms. I've had to call several times to find out what's going on (whether it's labs they couldn't find or calls they were supposed to have been returning).

Dr. McEwen was absolutely amazing. I am always grateful when I feel heard and understood especially when dealing with physicians. Dr. McEwen welcomed my questions with patience and helped me understand what was taking place with my body and the options available. I left feeling hopeful and knowing that I picked the right physician to assist me and be my GYN moving forward. The nurse Jaz was also amazing and friendly. She spoke so highly of Dr. McEwen before she even entered the room. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating all the way down to the lab tech. My first visit was a great overall experience!
