Whether you're seeking help with mood instability, trauma, addiction recovery, or chronic stress, I tailor each treatment plan to meet your clinical needs and life circumstances.
My practice integrates psychopharmacology with a supportive approach, lifestyle modification, and complementary strategies, including mindfulness-based tools. I work closely with therapists, primary care providers, and, when appropriate, family members to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our first session typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. During this time, I will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This process helps identify any underlying diagnoses, co-occurring conditions, or environmental factors that may be impacting your mental wellness. The goal of this first encounter is not just to assign a diagnosis but to understand your story. We will also explore your expectations and what you hope to achieve from treatment.
Once we've established diagnostic clarity, I will recommend a personalized treatment plan. This may involve medication management, brief psychotherapy, lab testing (when medically indicated), lifestyle modifications, and integration of safe dietary or herbal supplements. I’ll explain the benefits and risks of each option and involve you in every step of the decision-making process. My goal is to empower clients to take an active role in their recovery while providing the support and resources they need to thrive.

When I walked into the office. I heard the sound of soothing music playing. I was greeted by the receptionist who was very accommodating. Then I met Dr. Plange. She has a overall presence about her that's inviting. She automatically makes you feel relaxed. I felt so comfortable talking to her about my problems. Her bedside manner is bar none. I felt as though I was talking to my mom! My suggestion to anyone seeking this type of help. Dr. Plange is all you need.
