About Kelsey Madden
Kelsey Madden is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Affiliated Dermatology. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nursing from the University of Cincinnati.
She began her career as a certified Cardiac ICU and Cardiac Catheterization Nurse, gaining valuable experience in cardiology and family practice. After completing a rotation at Affiliated Dermatology, she discovered a deep fascination with dermatology. What Kelsey loves most about treating patients is following up with them and witnessing significant improvements in their health. She understands that patients often visit their dermatologist when they feel most vulnerable, and she finds fulfillment in educating and treating them. Building strong relationships with her patients is important to her so they feel they can trust her and return anytime.
Kelsey has a true passion for helping others and advocates for all patients as if they were her own family. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, she was actively involved in the community and committed to giving back. She participated in numerous free healthcare clinics and traveled to Belize on a medical mission trip to serve underserved populations. Additionally, she served on the board of the Student Nurse’s Association and attended many Nursing Conventions over the years.
In her free time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family, husband, and Golden Retriever puppy named Marley, as well as hiking and exploring the beautiful state of Arizona.
