I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami and completed my Bachelor's degree at the University of Florida. My training continued with a residency in General Surgery at the University of Texas, Houston, followed by a fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. In surgical oncology, we work as a multidisciplinary team, which includes the patient's primary care provider, colleagues in medical and radiation oncology, and increasingly specialists in fields like genetics and immunology, to provide the best care personalized to meet our patients' needs. The best part of being an oncologist is the lasting relationships we build with our patients, their support systems, and our care team.
