The front desk staff and medical assistant were very sweet and helpful. I was seen right away with very little wait time. The doctor however, came in somewhat hostile. I immediately felt off and unwelcome. When I let him know I’m there for a physical, I told him that the front desk told me to sent the document for my physical through the portal so he can print it out as it would be quicker. The doctor immediately was upset and said “you expect me to look for it? I’m not looking for it. They should’ve told you to send it to my email” I didn’t know what to say then he said “well are you doing to send it?” I wanted to walk out, but I stayed quiet. I sent the document. He said if that doesn’t work then he can’t see me at all. This interaction was very off putting. The medical assistant was able to retrieve the document and was very reassuring and sweet with me. The doctor came in and asked if there was anything else he would like for him to check. Overall, it was an off putting visit.

Dr. Ackerman checked out my back problem and immediately scheduled a pain management appointment within walking distance of the office. Friendly, practical, resourceful.

Unfriendly staff. Not a very professional environment. The Doctor walked in wearing a sweatshirt. At first I thought he was some maintenance guy or something. Doesn't look professional at all. Listened to my breathing with his stethoscope barely touching my back and seem like in a rush. I've never been to a Doctor's office like this one. The nurse Daisy that took my blood was a bit rude and seem to have an attitude. There was food in the examination room where she took my blood. Room smelled like chinese food. She was sniffling which made me feel uncomfortable that she might have a cold or something. There were signs everywhere that says the staff wear masks to protect their patients but I only saw a few staff wearing them. I asked her why she isn't wearing one, she said she just took it off. This was so disappointing since the reviews I read was not what I experienced at Optum, the Doctor and staff.
Will not recommend this office and definitely will not come back again.

First of all parking was plenty , which was a positive from the start . The building is clean and that includes the office . Upon walking in the people at the desk make everything effortless , easy and helped with any question asked . I was seen shortly after my scheduled time . Upon being seen the doctor was very nice and was efficient. Was open to any questions or concerns I had and I will be using him as my primary doctor moving forward.

friendly staff. my appointment was at 215 pm I was seen at 215 pm. the doctor was friendly and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. the ladys that drew my blood where very kind and put me at ease, I dont like needles. I think i found my new doctor. thank you guys!
