Getting to know Dr. Kenneth Erickson
As with many other physicians, I am able to provide virtual care for evaluation, therapy, and medication management to protect your safety. Should you desire in-office care, I can accommodate this in specific cases.
I enjoy treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, from depression, stress reactions, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and panic to sleep disorders. I also treat ADHD. My focus is on getting to know the patient as an individual and working together to select the best course of medication and/or counseling. I have a special interest in depression, anxiety conditions and panic, ADHD, and bipolar disorders, providing cognitive-behavioral therapy with suggestions to try out between sessions to maximize quality of life.
Many of my cases also involve stress, family, marital strains, and other environmental challenges. I do not handle workers' compensation cases.
I have been in practice for more than 30 years and have worked both in hospital settings and outpatient clinics throughout those years. Patient feedback as we work together is appreciated-such as reporting side effects-and I have found that responding quickly to patients leads to much more favorable outcomes.
I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University and hold a PhD from Oregon Health & Science University.
