About Dr. Kevin Stein

Dr. Kevin Stein joined The Skin Surgery Center in July of 2009. He treats medical and surgical dermatology problems, and he also offers multiple cosmetic skin problem solutions such as laser surgery, Botox, and dermal fillers. Dr. Stein earned his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown and graduated summa cum laude with bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Economics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville and a residency in Dermatology at New York Medical College. Dr. Stein has published numerous articles on such topics as the treatment of eczema, psoriasis and drug-induced photoallergic and phototoxic reactions. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Medical Association and the North Carolina Dermatology Association, where he served as President of the Executive Committee in 2017.
