About Dr. Kevin Tin
Dr. Kevin Tin is proud of his Chinese heritage and his local training. He bridges communication and cultural barriers to obtain appropriate competent care in a community that suffers from many stomach, liver and intestinal illnesses and cancer. He cares for his patients with a dedicated proactive approach to their health and wellness.
Dr. Tin completed his undergraduate studies from Stony Brook University and then went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude at American University of Antigua. He also completed a Masters in Health Care Administration at Plymouth State University during his medical training.
Dr. Tin completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center and completed a clinical transplant hepatology fellowship training at the world-renowned New York University Langone Medical Center.
He was then selected as Chief Fellow during his gastroenterology training. He is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine and Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is an active member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has published numerous articles and publications in multiple clinical journals and has spoken at various conferences. He holds hospital affiliations with Maimonides Medical Center and NYP-Queens, and NYP – Brooklyn Methodist.

Great experience. Clean, bright facility. Easy to find. Everyone was so polite and friendly. I didn’t have to wait long to be seen. Necessary procedure scheduled for the day after initial appointment. They called two days later to check in on me. I would recommend this doctor and return if need be.
