With over 30 years of experience in psychiatry, I bring a deep foundation of clinical knowledge to every patient I work with. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, and I approach each person's care holistically.
Rather than focusing on a single symptom or aspect of your life, I work to understand the full picture, including your history, environment, and daily functioning, so we can develop a treatment plan that truly fits you.
My approach to therapy
My approach is analytical and comprehensive. I believe that to treat someone effectively, you have to understand them fully, not just their diagnosis, but how their mental health affects every part of their life.
Mental health underlies general health in profound ways, and I'm committed to helping patients achieve real quality of life, not just symptom management. In session, patients often describe feeling genuinely understood and supported as we work through challenges together.
What you can expect from me
In our first session, I'll take time to get to know you, your background, your current struggles, and what you're hoping to achieve through care.
Many of the patients I work with come in feeling overwhelmed, unable to focus, or no longer able to do the things they used to enjoy. Some are carrying deep sadness they haven't been able to shake.
My goal in that first meeting is to help you feel heard and begin building a clear, collaborative picture of what's going on so we can move forward with intention.

I was very excited for this appointment but then was a bit frustrated coming out of it realizing I had no way to contact or speak with the doctor. I have had questions and had issues with my prescription and was very difficult to get answers from him.
