Dr. Khan held a faculty position as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Palliative Medicine at UCSF, Fresno, CA, a Clinical Instructor position at USC Headache Medicine, Department of Neurology, and was an Academic Associate at Tufts Medical Center. He has received various awards, including the AAPM 2016 Fellows Scholarship Award at the American Academy of Pain Medicine meeting in Palm Springs, CA. Dr. Khan also worked as an Associate Editor for Basic Sciences for PC-FACS, an online resource for Palliative Care Physicians; a reviewer for “Rotator Cuff Tears” and “Cancer Pain” for DynaMed; a peer reviewer for journal articles with Dove Medical Press; and served as Communications Representative for the Therapeutic Ultrasound Community of Practice with the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
