About Kimberly Hardy-Sampson
Kimberly Hardy-Sampson is an advanced practice registered nurse who is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C).
A native of Louisiana, Kimberly earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her master’s degree in family nursing from Prairie View A&M University. She began her career as a telemetry-cardiovascular nurse and, since 2012, has been a family nurse practitioner in primary care and urgent care.
Kimberly provides primary care, including physicals, chronic disease management, treatment of acute illness, and pediatric services, for patients of all ages. She also performs simple in-office procedures such as skin biopsies, suturing, pap smears, and Nexplanon insertions. She has a keen interest in women’s health and mental health services.
A passion for helping others, combined with a lifelong interest in science and the human body, motivated Kimberly to enter the healthcare field. A provider who is empathic, compassionate, and caring, she always puts patients first, keeping in mind words of wisdom from her late mother: to treat every patient like a member of the family.
Her favorite part of practicing medicine is helping patients improve their health. She wants patients to see her as a provider with an easygoing communication style who takes time to listen to their concerns. She believes that listening and educating patients helps them make more informed decisions about their health.
Kimberly is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Married and the mother of two, she enjoys spending her spare time with her family, watching movies, solving crossword puzzles, and cooking for her loved ones.

Never have I been seen immediately upon arrival but this happened for not only me but someone else that had come in right after me. Granted it was first thing in the morning I still really appreciated not having to wait 45+ minutes to be called back. Dr Kim listened to all my concerns and was very nice and kept me updated on any waiting I had for labs or other tests. I will definitely be returning in the future

I haven't been to a Dr for many years, I was nervous. She came in and was super kind and friendly. She listened to what I was concerned about and explained what suggestions we need to check to update my overall current health. I was really comfortable talking to her.

My first visit was a much better experience than my second. It was clear that everyone was ready to leave or had other pressing matters, as I felt like I was more of an interruption than a patient. Also, I was unaware that I’d need to give a urine specimen. The specimen delay seemed to be causing undue stress on an already impatient nursing assistant and the cough med that was supposed to be called in never made it to my pharmacist. I’ll be searching for a new facility.
