About Dr. Kinna Patel

Dr. Kinna Patel is a Board Certified Foot and Ankle Physician serving the community of Smyrna, GA and beyond. She prides herself in dedicating extensive time with her patients to formulate the best treatment plan that is customized to each individual.
Dr. Patel uses state of the art technology in combination with traditional methods to get you back on your feet quicker. She completed her bachelor’s degree at New York University and attended Temple University where she earned her Doctorate. She received a degree in Plant-Based Medicine at Cornell University thereafter. Dr. Patel finished a 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency in Miami, FL with an additional certification in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. It was in Miami where she first started working with professional sports teams and trained with the Miami Heat team surgeons.
Dr. Patel continues to work with professional athletes, as well as patients of all ages, ranging from infants to the elderly, for general and specialized foot and ankle conditions. She treats a full variety of foot and ankle conditions including, but certainly not limited to heel pain, flatfeet, dermatological conditions, tendonitis, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown nails, fungal nails, fractures, warts, nerve pain, sports-related injuries, wound care, infections, diabetic care/limb salvage, varicose veins, and joint pain.

Dr Patel provided a great experience to help take care of a painful issue with one of my toes. She listened intently to what had been going on and gave me three options to resolve the issue. She took the time to explain each option completely and let me decide for myself. She also examined both of my feet and gave me insights into what might have been causing the issue and the possibility of other non-related issues with my feet and toes as I get older. Dr Patel described every step of the chosen procedure and was very thorough in her follow-up care instructions. Would highly recommend Dr Patel to anyone.

The appointment ran smoothly. The doctor is nice and explained clearly the root of my problems and why she chose the treatment she recommended. I felt very well assisted. The only point I would have loved to know in advance was the price of the visit since I knew right away that my insurance was rejected even with my out-of-network coverage.
