Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, typically 60 minutes. This is not a quick check-in. Knarik reviews your full mental health history, current symptoms, previous treatments, medications, and your goals for care.
After the evaluation, you receive a clear diagnosis and a treatment plan explained in plain language. If medication is recommended, all options, expected effects, and alternatives are discussed before any prescription is written.
Follow-up appointments are typically 30 minutes and focus on your response to treatment, any adjustments needed, and progress toward your goals.
For OCD, treatment follows evidence-based protocols including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). For ADHD, both medication management and behavioral strategies are part of the plan.
