About Dr. Koteswara (Kody) Kunda
Dr. Kody Kunda is a trusted and respected Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University, St. Louis. Dr. Kunda has been practicing in the area for about ten years and has performed over four thousand deliveries. He is also certified in advanced operative laparoscopic surgery by the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy and is the only doctor in Hays County with this certification. Dr. Kunda has been recognized as a top Obstetrician and Gynecologist by the Consumers' Research Council of America in 2009, 2010, and 2011, and is one of only three doctors in Hays County to receive this award.

The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. Everyone was just a joy to be around. They listened to all my concerns and questions. I did not feel rushed at all like I do at most dr office.

Terrible experience, was dismissive during appointment, told me to buy various things from the store, a very specific large dose of ibuprofen and didn’t give me anything in writing. when i called back, they said i’m an adult and should remember everything said on the table. sucks to have dealt with that and will be finding another provider once again.

So glad I found Dr Kunda. I’ve been putting off a visit for a long time and had to find someone close to home. He, his staff and Julie were amazing. Made me feel comfortable, were a delight and very informative. Dr Kunda took a lot of time to go over everything with me and helped me determine my options and next steps. Great office staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful! I found my new gynecologist! Thank you guys!

This was such a great experience. I was scarred from my previous IUD experience but booked here because of a recommendation from a friend and wow, night and day difference. They actually numbed me, explained the whole process, did an ultrasound during the insertion, and gave me instructions/replacement card reminder. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kunda and his staff go above and beyond. And no, I’m not just saying that to say it. I normally don’t write reviews but I’m blown away after only one appointment. Amanda, part of the staff, took the time to leave home and meet me at the office on Friday around 2 pm to give me a shot. Even though they closed two hours prior. They understood the shot was essential to my pregnancy and worked around my schedule to make it happen. I definitely asked stupid questions, but they didn’t make me feel that way through their responses. From my experience, doctors tend to provide a lot of quick easy answers. Dr. Kunda however, gave me detailed answers I was able to understand.

Both my doctor, and surgeon I've been seeing for years retired or moved away. This was my first appointment with Dr. Kunda. I read reviews about the office staff that concerned me. But I found the office staff to be super friendly and helpful. The nurse was the kindest nurse I've ever had help me. And Dr. Kunda was very kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend this office, and I will be using them going forward.
