Hello, and welcome! I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent years working as a registered nurse in a variety of healthcare settings, which gave me a strong foundation in patient-centered care and the importance of treating each person with empathy, dignity, and respect. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, and other mood and behavioral disorders. I believe every person deserves to feel heard and understood. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where we can work together to help you achieve lasting emotional wellness and improve your quality of life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe the best mental health care is collaborative. I take time to listen carefully, understand your unique experiences, and develop an individualized treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with education, lifestyle recommendations, and encouragement to incorporate psychotherapy whenever appropriate. I believe that successful treatment addresses the whole person - not just symptoms. I strive to build trusting, long-term relationships with my clients through open communication, compassion, and shared decision-making. Together, we’ll regularly evaluate your progress and adjust your treatment plan as your needs evolve.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, previous treatments, medications, family history, lifestyle, and the goals you hope to achieve. By the end of the visit, you’ll have a better understanding of your diagnosis (when appropriate), treatment options, and next steps. If medication is recommended, we’ll discuss the potential benefits, risks, side effects, and answer any questions you may have before making decisions together. My priority is to ensure you leave feeling heard, respected, and confident that we’re working as partners in your mental health journey. ***DISCLAIMER***: Please upload scans of your insurance card asap so that our office staff can verify if your plan is actually in-network. We will reach out via messaging and call you asap after your booking.
