About Dr. Krista Kant
Dr. Kant grew up in coastal Alabama. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Spring Hill College, received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Alabama, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida. After completing her schooling and training, she was in private practice for 10 years as a general OB-Gyn in Clearwater, Florida. She relocated to the Fort Lauderdale area in 2019 and practiced as an OB hospitalist until joining Westside OB-Gyn in February 2022. She loves the personal connection with her patients that private practice provides. Her general interests include well woman care, contraception, sexual health, low-risk and high-risk obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding, postmenopause, and perimenopause.

Dr. Kant’s office called weeks prior to my appointment to inform me that they had an earlier opening which I’ve never experienced from a doctor’s office before. The office staff was very friendly. I was seen as soon as I was done with the paperwork. Dr. Kant was very thorough and she listened to my every concern. She was very clear on communicating next steps, made me feel comfortable from the moments she walked in, and did not rush to leave once the exam was complete. I’m very happy with my experience and highly recommend her!

Friendly call to remind me of appointment and to try and fill out questionnaire. When I got to office I apologized for not doing questionnaire as my computer wasn't working. Reception was super understanding. The PA was great as I was super nervous. She was very understanding and supportive. Explained everything very well. Dr. Kant was great. Just lovely. The Doctor was great, friendly, and approachable, listened, and reviewed my prior medical information. I really liked her easygoing personality. The Office atmosphere, decor, overall appearance, and calming yoga sounds were excellent. Overall as doctor visits go it was very pleasant. Going back again and hope to make her my regular OB moving forward as long as she will have me.

Really glad that I chose to go see Dr. Kant for my annual check up. She has an excellent bedside manner and made me feel comfortable immediately. The exam was over in a matter of minutes. Everyone in the office that I encountered was also nice.
I will note that I found myself waiting in the room for about 30 minutes total when I first was waiting to meet the doctor and then afterwards when she had me change. I also have found it difficult to get ahold of someone in the office in regards to post appointment questions, but I still plan to continue seeing Dr. Kant.

This was my first time going to Dr. Kant. Words are not enough to describe how awesome she is. Let's start with the waiting area. Clean, nice furniture, soft music it just relaxes you. Office staff courteous and nice. Dr. Kant was talking to me as if we were old friends catching up. She asked me about my kids, my grandkids as if she knew them. I would not hesitate to recommend her to family and friends. If you are looking for an OB/GYN who is caring and compassionate. Look no further. Dr Kant got you.

Dr. Kant is wonderful. I found her easy to talk to and her explanations were clear. I have confidence in her as a doctor.
The only downside is that I’ll be going on Medicare in a few months and was advised her office does not accept Medicare so she cannot be my doctor for the long-term. Disappointed.

As I walked in Katyann greeted me and gave me check in iPad. I was called back right after I finished paperwork. Sofia was so pleasant and kind. I seen Nurse Shauna and she was courteous and knowledgeable. I appreciate the entire office down to checkout, didn’t get name but I recommend this office to all! I look forward to making Oasis my new OBGYN home!
