About Kristen Lum
Kristen Lum, LAc, isn't chasing symptoms. She's after the pattern underneath them.
Founder of Lum Acupuncture in Brentwood, Los Angeles, Kristen trained in the Jeffrey Yuen lineage of Classical Chinese Medicine, a tradition that predates the standardized TCM most people are familiar with. Her clinical roots go back to an oncology setting in Santa Fe, where she worked alongside an oncologist, learning firsthand how acupuncture supports a body already under enormous strain. That experience shaped everything that came after.
Today her practice blends classical and somatic acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, microneedling, custom Chinese herbal formulas, functional nutrition, and lifestyle guidance. No single lane. Digestion, sleep, skin, mood, cycles: in Chinese medicine, these were never separate systems, and Kristen treats them that way.
Root causes get the attention here, not just the symptom in front of her. Chronic bloating, anxiety, stubborn skin concerns, low energy: these often trace back to the same terrain, where the gut and the nervous system are constantly talking to each other. I have been receiving Accupuncture from Kristen Lum for many years and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She has treated me from various injuries to help help with quitting smoking. She’s very knowledgeable with a wonderful bedside manner!

I've been going to Kristen for about 4-5 months now and everytime i go i leave feeling so much better. I first went in for gut health issues that we addressed however, she does so much more. The massage, the acupuncture and, just the overall knowledge that I receive to better my quality of life has helped me through so many issues I've been having. She can even help you get over a cold/flu really quickly which was awesome. It would be in many people's best interest to give it a try, for a better quality of life. Thank you Kristen for everything
