Getting to know Dr. Kulsoom Sohail

I am a general psychiatrist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based mental health care. I completed my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Aga Khan University and my General Psychiatry residency at UT Health San Antonio. Working closely with diverse patient populations during training strengthened my clinical experience and deepened my commitment to this field. My practice is broad, and I welcome individuals with a wide range of needs and diagnoses. I believe care is most effective when we take a holistic view — understanding emotions, experiences, and life context together. My goal is to offer a safe, warm, and respectful environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered. Outside of work, I enjoy family time, traveling, and photography. I speak English and Urdu.
