I am satisfy with her.
She stated that I was receive medication IF I provided my medical records, that day just after my appointment I had reached out to my care provider in Texas and requested my medical records, they emailed me a copy and emailed her office a copy. From there she never made any contact with me, nor did she provide the medication that I needed. I would not recommend this doctor.

I felt like the provider made it seem as though I was hunting down controlled medications, instead of making an effort to continue my previous medication. The tone was very accusatory instead of helpful, until they found out that I was also a healthcare professional. The tone changed a bit after that. I won’t be using this provider. My search for a psychiatrist continues. :(

This was my first appointment with this provider but not my first physiatrist appointment. This was my worst behavioral health appointment ever. I had to leave the appointment early due to not feeling mentally safe with the provider. Tele-visit and Doctor was 30 minutes late and I had to call the office to see what was going on before they joined. The doctor dead named me 3 times after I corrected them - even though my preferred name was given before the appointment. They had not read any of my history I provided and instead asked me the same questions from their forms more than once. Refused to listen when I explained my symptoms and wanted to treat conditions that have been managed for 5+ years. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Tang was kind and very understanding. She was 30 mins late because of internet problems but she apologized profusely and offered to extend the time of my appointment. I am not a fan of taking meds but she reassured me that she is prescribing a low dose of a medication that has been on the market for years and it is very safe. I would recommend Dr. Tang, especially if you are Asian/South Asian as she is understanding of those parenting styles.

Told me my prior psychiatrist went way over medication level limits (not true). Added medications and decreased some. She then proceeded to ask to speak with my parents. I am over 18 yrs old and told her that was unnecessary. All questionnaires I filled out while seeing her showed my mental health was decreasing. I was not stable. She decided i were to see her in a month instead of 2 weeks. I regret agreeing. I wait over 43ish minutes past my appointment time for her to join the meeting. When she finally joined, she never apologized for being late. My computers camera broke last week so I couldn’t use it for the appointment. She said she “couldn’t do her job without seeing my face” and started to get a bit hostile about it especially when I said her office was too far for me to come into. Mentioned again how she absolutely had to talk to my parents. I told her that made me uncomfortable. She did not care. If you want someone that actually listens, this is not your person

she’s actually pretty okay. I like her. straight to the point. instead of some other providers who i feel like take a while she cuts corners and gets straight to the point. for a busy girl like me I need that.

Despite my many mental disorders, which I have been diagnosed with, for years, she thought that my anxiety medicine was too high and wanted me to go to rehab. I have anxiety disorders, panic attacks, borderline, CPTSD and DID. I found her question, "what do you have to be anxious / stressed about?" very cold, especially since i lost my younger brother unexpectedly 10 months ago and have experienced extreme trauma not just as a child, but all of my adult life.

She asked me several leading questions about my ethnicity (you see me and you know I'm Asian) which made me uncomfortable. When I finally told her she said "Yes i could tell you are [xyz] already from the way you look." Excuse me???? I didn't ask her about her ethnicity because it's not my business. When talking about support systems I said I'd prefer being on my own as opposed to being with my parents (I'm not a student, btw) and she went on this thing about Asian parents and miscommunication and Asian parent's expectations and how I need to "know who I am" --- all I said was "I prefer being on my own" - her assuming things about my experience and then giving me a mini lecture and giving her own input when I didn't ask +she is not a therapist rubbed me the wrong way. She thinks me not being able to listen or be attentive in meetings is caused by anxiety (?????) when I told her specifically that prior stimulant A*HD medication helped me listen and focus better because I didn't have to fight to hear. However she insists on trying W*llbutrin first on adults -and said that having more energy will help me focus better. Like I'm telling you I can't process audio normally but when I was on stimulant medication it really helped with that. Summary: If you're Asian she might give you unhelpful lectures about Asian families. She didn't seem to really listen or take in my prior experience with stimulant A*HD medication and was set on prescribing (a non stimulant) W*llbutrin from the very beginning no matter what I said.

I felt comfortable speaking with her. I am glad that I found her. I have had bad experiences in the past with seeing someone and happy that this has been a good one.

She spent a lot of time asking clarifying questions to understand my Dx. I felt like she took enough time to begin to work with me.

Just completed my initial visit with Dr. Tang and I had a wonderful experience with her. She was extremely professional and informative with explaining the process of my virtual visit. She was a great listener, empathetic and most of all compassionate the entire time. I look forward to my next visit with her.

This doctor is terrible. she says she will refill your prescription and then when the time comes to pick it up it says she hasn’t sent in a refill. And when i try to get a hold of her she is never available and her office staff is very unpleasant and not helpful at all.

Would definitely go back

This doctor was 7 minutes late because she was getting a snack (her words) and ended my session 20 minutes early. I told the office about this and they have yet to reply. Within three minutes of the session beginning, the doctor prescribed an antidepressant twice my current dosage (I didn’t need or want another prescription for the same thing) and she made it very clear she’s not a therapist and her only duty was to prescribe medication. A waste of time and money. Also, with no disrespect, the language barrier was a problem. I would not recommend her unless you just want five minutes and a high dosage prescription.
