About Dr. Kyle Schwickerath
Dr. Kyle Schwickerath is an Arizona native where he attended Grand Canyon University and obtained his bachelor's degree in Biology w/ emphasis in pre-medicine, graduating Suma Cum Laude in 2015. He received his doctoral degree from Midwestern University College of Podiatric Medicine in Glendale, AZ where honors included being awarded the American Board of Podiatric Medicine Stephen M. Geller Graduate Merit Award, as well as being a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society. After graduating in 2020, he completed his three year surgical residency with Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY, earning his certification with Podiatric Medicine & Surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. During his time, he served as Chief Resident, completing over 1,500 foot and ankle surgeries focused on comprehensive foot & ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, Charcot reconstruction, forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and pediatric surgery.
Dr. Schwickerath believes in keeping his patients healthy, active, and on their feet utilizing a variety of conservative and surgical management treatment options. His care focuses on all issues concerning the lower leg, ankle and foot including sports medicine, trauma, fractures, complex deformity reconstruction, revision surgery, bunions, hammertoes, diabetic/neuropathic patients suffering from acute and chronic ulcerations, etc. Dr.Schwickerath has trained in minimally invasive (MIS) surgical treatment of common foot deformities for reconstruction. Dr. Schwickerath prides himself on staying current with emerging techniques in order to get his patients on their feet as quickly as possible.
Dr. Schwickerath currently resides in NW Peoria and in his free time enjoys outdoor activities with his two sons and two dogs including camping, hiking, golfing, mountain biking, water activities, etc.

My experience was amazing. The doctor was on time. He was courteous, respectful, and knew about my condition. He did not rush me through the appointment. Kyle is the man. Exactly how you want a doctors appointment to go. X-rays were smooth, etc. leading up to the conversation. He was very consultative. Answered probably too many questions, gave a ton of advice. Really fantastic and would recommend immediately to anyone looking for a podiatrist!
