Hello! My name is Chawnda Szudlo. I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with an extensive background in mental health, including inpatient, outpatient, forensics, geropsych, and adolescents. I completed my Master’s in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University. My passion for psychiatry is based on my strong and genuine interest in helping you achieve “mental wellness” rather than focusing on “mental illness.” Are you exhausted from attempting one medication after another with no success? With tremendous advances in the field of pharmacogenetics, allow me to help you finally find the right medication that works for you! By analyzing your genotype with most psychotropics, I can more finely tune a medication regimen best suited for you. My goal as a provider is for patients to leave every session with attainable goals. Our first session will focus on obtaining your mental health history and a thorough understanding of your symptoms. I take a holistic approach, looking at the full picture of potential stressors and triggers instead of just treating the presenting symptoms.
