About Dr. Laini Gaar
Dr. Gaar is a native of Fort Myers, FL. She attended the University of Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in lntegrative Biology. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Gaar performed an internal medicine internship at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA, before completing her dermatology residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Gaar is a board-certified dermatologist who practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and treats conditions of the skin, hair, and nails. She has a special focus on the detection and treatment of skin cancer as well as the treatment of stigmatizing skin disease.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and is certified by NccPA. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, and Christian Medical & Dental Associations.
In her spare time, she has a passion for mission trips, ballet, hiking, and CrossFit training.
