Getting to know Larita Whittington

“Holistic Mental Health Meets Spa-Style Wellness – Your Journey to Whole-Body Healing Starts Here.” From the moment you step into our tranquil, med-spa-style clinic, you’ll feel the gentle blend of science and self-care that defines Impireum Wellness Group. I’m LaRita?Whittington, APRN?PMHNP-BC, and I’ve spent the last decade treating mood and anxiety disorders, substance-use and co-occurring conditions, and a wide range of psychiatric illnesses in settings from The Menninger Clinic to Texas Children’s Hospital. My practice is built on the belief that mental health thrives when it’s integrated with physical wellness, so I offer everything from individualized psychotherapy and medication management to advanced modalities like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), ketamine (Spravato) therapy, and even Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) when necessary—all within a calming, spa-like environment. Beyond traditional psychiatry, I provide a full spectrum of wellness services that work together to restore balance and vitality. IV hydration, NAD+ infusions, and micronutrient therapy replenish energy and support brain health, while hormone panels, testosterone replacement, and metabolic-support programs help you feel your best at every age. For those seeking aesthetic enhancements or longevity care, we offer Botox, fillers, and skin-health treatments that complement your mental-health goals. Each patient receives a personalized, evidence-based plan—often bundled into our curated memberships (MoodReset, WellMind, BodyReset, and more)—so you can experience seamless, holistic care that’s tailored to your life. I coordinate closely with a team of psychiatrists, therapists, and specialists to keep your care integrated and effective. Whether you’re looking for a first psychiatric evaluation, advanced TMS, or a complete wellness transformation, you’ll find a welcoming, confidential space where your mental and physical well-being are treated as one.

What should a new client know about working with you?

PRACTICE POLICY: We require all check in and new patient intake to be completed at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Please keep this in mind and ensure your payment, consent forms, and insurance verification are completed. When you book an appointment with me, you’ll be welcomed into a collaborative, patient-centered practice that treats the whole person—mind, body, and community. As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner, I work with patients of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and seniors, using evidence-based medication management, psychotherapy, and a range of advanced modalities. I’ll start with a comprehensive, individualized assessment to understand your history, symptoms, and goals, and then develop a clear, measurable treatment plan that may include medication, cognitive-behavioral or dialectical-behavioral therapy, and, when appropriate, referrals to our on-site TMS or ECT services for severe, treatment-resistant depression or anxiety. I’m committed to making mental-health care accessible and convenient. In addition to in-person visits (Mon-Fri 9?a.m.–5?p.m.; Saturday/Sunday by appointment), I offer secure telehealth appointments for those who prefer virtual care. I also provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance-use disorders and coordinate care with our network of psychiatrists, therapists, and specialists to ensure seamless integration of services. Billing is straightforward—our office accepts Aetna, Blue?Cross/Blue?Shield, Cigna, Humana, United Health Care, VA/TriWest, and self-pay, with transparent pricing and insurance processing. If you’re ready to take the next step toward mental wellness, simply book an appointment through Zocdoc. I’ll meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and guide you toward a personalized path to recovery. Together, we’ll work toward lasting improvement and a healthier, happier you.
