“As a patient with a late stage cancer, my requirements are fairly extensive. Nevertheless, over well over a year, I've been going to Restoration Health once a week to mitigate the side effects of chemotherapy. No matter what I may be dealing with in any particular week during that time, I routinely and reliably leave Restoration Health feeling much better. There is significant value in that they I can't find elsewhere. Highly recommended!”

About Lauren Kaplan
Lauren is a nationally board certified Doctor of Acupuncture who came to acupuncture out of her own desperate need to find pain relief from an 18-month long broken coccyx injury. While Lauren had a tremendous fear of needles and was the most unlikely person ever to become an acupuncturist, she loves helping patients, especially the skeptics, feel their best.
She earned her Doctor of Acupuncture, Master of Science in Acupuncture and Bachelor of Professional Studies degrees from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Lauren is certified in facial rejuvenation and also served as an intern at NYU Lutheran Hospital in the Orthopedic/Neurology department where she received additional training in acupuncture for post-stroke sequelae.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaplan for close to a year! She is professional and kind, understanding and so effective. I leave my appointments relaxed, pain free and comforted that I am in good hands. The office is clean and the front desk staff are lovely. I have never once had to wait for my appointment time. The list of things that have improved for me since beginning here is endless. I came for fertility treatments and I am currently pregnant with a baby boy! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kaplan and her practice.

I have been going to Dr. Kaplan for a few years now and I cannot say enough good things! I went in for an issue with a pinched nerve and started to feel a difference in just a few sessions. Prior to that I had tried Physical Therapy, pain meds and other options but NOTHING helped me the way acupuncture has. Since then, I go in for maintenance but have found it helps me with a number of other issues - Muscle tightness, hormone health, digestive support, anxiety and so much more. Not to mention, I haven't had a migraine in years after meeting Dr. Kaplan. She has given me the gift of health and I am so grateful! I wish more practitioners were like her in how they care for patients.
The office is also clean, organized and even has additional services/items for purchase that help with health and wellness. MaryBeth and the office staff at the front desk are also incredible in how they treat patients. I am always able to get someone on the phone when I need to. Can't recommend them enough!

Dr. Lauren has become my pain management Swiss Army Knife. Previously, I suffered constant pain in my shoulders, neck, and upper back for my entire adult life- over 15 years. I had done dozens and dozens of chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, yoga, stretching, strength training- you name it. Nothing worked until my first visit to Restoration. I woke the morning after my first visit with NO PAIN for the first time in years. I’m a regular patient and will be forever!

Regardless of the issue, l experience significant relief within a few sessions without requiring medication, leaving me feeling revitalized.
