About Dr. Lauren Penzi
Dr. Lauren Penzi is a board-certified dermatologist at MDCS who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Penzi attended New York Medical College, where she was admitted to the prestigious AOA honor society. She then completed her dermatology residency at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Penzi has made notable research contributions and has been published in some of the top dermatology journals. She also completed a hair loss fellowship at Harvard, and has a special interest in skin cancer, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss and cosmetics. Dr. Penzi believes in a natural and personalized approach to cosmetics, and is skilled in performing neurotoxins, fillers, platelet rich plasma injections, and various laser treatments. She continues to remain at the forefront of dermatologic education and research in order to provide the best care to her patients. She takes care of patients at the Plainview, Commack, and Hampton Bays locations.

My Dr and her assistant were very welcoming. As I was examined all my questions were answered. The Dr. is very knowledgeable and thorough. Dr. Penzi embodies all the great qualities I want in my Doctor: knowledgeable, kind, receptive, attentive, good listener, calm, honest, takes her time when answering all your questions in easy-to-understand verbiage while also informing you of the associated medical terminology. The waiting area and rooms are clean and spacious.
