About Dr. Lauren Strazzulla
Dr. Strazzulla is a board-certified dermatologist, born and raised in Massachusetts. She attended Cornell University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences, graduating cum laude. Her interest in healthcare inspired her to pursue a medical degree at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. During her training she completed a prestigious year of research focused on alopecia with Dr. Jerry Shapiro, a world-renowned expert in hair and scalp disorders.
After finishing an internship in internal medicine, Dr. Strazzulla completed her residency in Dermatology at the highly respected University of Miami Dr. Philip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. She received extensive training in complex medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, cosmetics and hair disorders.
Dr. Strazzulla takes a patient first approach to providing dermatologic care, and incorporates cutting edge therapies into personalized treatment plans. She is committed to helping patients achieve meaningful improvement in their health and quality of life.
Dr. Strazzulla is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Women’s Dermatologic Society. She has published book chapters and manuscripts in top peer reviewed journals and delivered oral presentations at highly regarded dermatology conferences.
She treats the complete spectrum of dermatologic diseases including acne, eczema, psoriasis, warts, itch, contact dermatitis, hives, and hair loss. She performs skin cancer screenings, excision of benign and malignant skin lesions, and aesthetic procedures.

Just went for my first visit and it was a great experience! The office is super clean and they have La Croix in the waiting room. I came 20 minutes early to my appointment and they were still able to take me back super quickly. The doctor was very nice and took the time to explain everything to me. It never felt like she was in a rush to leave. Would definitely recommend!

It’s the first time in my life a dermatologist doesn’t look at my skin up close. She was sitting 5 feet away from me. When I said “the acne on my chin is different but I’m not sure you can see it from there”, she moved slightly closer (3 feet away) for one minute to then go back to her original position. Zero interest in figuring out any whys, just in a hurry move on to the next patient.

Dr Strazzulla was excellent. She listened to my concerns, asked great questions, and recommended different solutions. The dermatology specialists office is new and clean. The waiting area does get a lot of direct sunlight on a sunny day, so bring a hat or shades.

The actual doctor was great, but the front desk folks left a bit to be desired. They felt like very tired kids who barely knew what was going on and gave very misleading information regarding referrals (saying I didn’t need one when they blatantly ask for one on the intake) and promising me no payment that I’d be covered and then telling me I had a large copay and that I likely wouldn’t be covered.

Wonderful dermatologist!! Office is spotless. I had made an appointment and was seen exactly at my appointment time. Dr Lauren Strazzulla knew exactly what my condition was the moment she checked, explained in detail what the problem was and I was on my way! I wish she was my primary doctor she seems to really care about her patients and that's a plus.
