Laurie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Humility is central to her approach to care. She believes being a strong clinician means recognizing what you don't know, being willing to ask questions, and seeking guidance or collaboration when needed. She brings that same openness and curiosity to her work with clients, creating a space where they can speak honestly about their experiences without fear of judgment. Above all, Laurie wants clients to leave each interaction feeling that their connection was genuine and authentic and that their mental health goals are attainable. She works to help clients recognize their strengths, identify meaningful steps forward, and feel supported throughout the process. Outside of work, Laurie loves movement and being outdoors, whether hiking, swimming, or relaxing on the beach. She also enjoys reading and cooking delicious meals for family and friends.
