Board-certified in family medicine and fellowship-trained in geriatric medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Dr. Notaro earned a medical degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia 'Agostino Gemelli' and completed a bachelor's degree at Boston University. After residency in family medicine at Heritage Valley Beaver, Dr. Notaro has been in practice since 2012. Dr. Notaro is great. He was well engaged with me the whole time I was there. He explained everything that’s going on with me in plain term so I can understand.
I have to say the overall experience with doctor was great, but office admin experience was not very good.
My prescription needed to be sent to different pharmacy so I called and requested. The office member was not helpful at all. She said that she made a note but I don’t think she actually tried anything to accommodate the request, and she sounded like she was annoyed. Sounded rude.

I arrive early, however if the appointment was scheduled for a certain time, it is not fair to wait for 40 minutes and somebody from his staff says he does not have time to finish with the previous patient, it was my first time and I will never go back, because it is disrespectful.

Doctor was very thorough and took the time to explain things that I needed to be aware of. My last two primary docs were “underwhelming” in this regard, and I needed to find someone that would help me take a wholistic approach to my future health needs.
