About Lea Ann Kinney

Lea Ann Williams is a seasoned Family and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with more than 35 years of healthcare experience. At Metro Healthy Communities, she brings a warm, practical approach to caring for patients across the lifespan—with a focus on children, adolescents, and young families. Lea Ann began her career as a pediatric and surgical nurse before transitioning into nursing education and advanced clinical practice. She earned her BSN and later became a nursing instructor and assistant professor, followed by over 15 years as a Pediatric NP at Norton Children’s Medical Associates. Known for her gentle bedside manner and deep clinical knowledge, Lea Ann takes pride in delivering thoughtful, family-centered care that empowers patients and caregivers alike. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys kayaking, birdwatching, painting, and spending time with her grandchildren and rescue pets.
