About Leen Abdulqader
Hello! I’m Leen and I am a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in the states of Illinois and Maryland. My interest in nutrition began in my teenage years where I struggled with my relationship with food and maintaining my health. I became passionate about the nutrition field and completed a Bachelor of Science and Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My dietetic internship included a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings that were dedicated to counseling individuals and helping them maintain nutritional health. This helped me become well versed with a wide variety of individuals that were dealing with medical conditions or just wanted better eating habits. My approach to nutritional counseling focuses on meeting my clients where they’re at and getting to know them and their stories. This really helps both the client and I work together to create goals that are realistic, leading to long lasting changes. Outside of work, my life still revolves around my passion for food. I enjoy recipe testing, cooking, and trying out new restaurants!
