About Leia Giddens

I became a lactation consultant because I believe every family deserves knowledgeable, compassionate support during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives. My approach is rooted in evidence and grounded in human connection — I'm not here to overwhelm you with information, but to help you find the simplest, most sustainable path forward. I believe in the power of practical plans. My goal is to meet you where you are, build your confidence, and give you tools that actually work in your real life — not just in a clinical setting. I find beauty in simplicity, and I work hard to find the path of least intervention that still meets your needs. Maternal mental health is deeply important to me. I understand that feeding challenges don't exist in a vacuum — they affect the whole family. I see my role not just as a lactation consultant, but as someone who can help identify gaps in your care and connect you with the right support when you need it most. My hope is that you leave every visit feeling more confident, more capable, and less alone.
