About Dr. Leigh Ann Hutchinson
For the past 23 years, I have been practicing cardiology and electrophysiology. During this time, I have greatly enjoyed providing my patients with personalized care in both office and hospital settings. Following my patients from an office visit through potentially complicated hospitalizations has enabled me to maintain continuity of care and better serve their needs. Over the past two decades, I have developed an integrative approach to treating the heart. In addition to using state-of-the-art technology to identify patients at high risk for heart attacks, strokes, and sudden death, and treating complex cardiac and arrhythmia conditions, I have also initiated nutritional evaluations and exercise plans based on in-office nutritional consultations and timed cardiopulmonary stress testing. My patients are part of my extended family!
I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Yale University. I completed my residency and fellowship in cardiology at New York University Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital Center. He also completed a fellowship in electrophysiology at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center.

Wonderful visit with Dr. Hutchinson. Dr. Hutchinson cares about me as a person because she takes time during the exam to listen carefully to what I am feeling. She also takes her time to go over the diagnosis and/or conditions with me as well as my treatment options. Dr. Hutchinson responds quickly when returning a call in an emergency situation. Her demeanor immediately puts me at ease because I know I am confident hands. Her staff is friendly and helpful, too. Dr. Hutchinson is a caring person, has excellent knowledge, extensive experience, and provides outstanding quality of care; I highly recommend Dr. Hutchinson.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! I waited THREE hours prior to being seen. Then, I finally am seated in the room, to wait ANOTHER 45 minutes. I am told my insurance is covered and I pay my copay. But yet receive a letter in the mail saying I owe money?? DO NOT COME HERE. She fails to listen to the issue at hand and makes you feel as if you’re not telling the truth. I highly recommend NOT coming here. Absolutely waste of time, money, and expenses. The staff did not even know I had an appointment at times nor knew how to properly checkout. 0/10

I’ve had a lot of health issues, and I’ve seen a lot of doctors. I will say that Dr. Hutchinson is one of the few who takes her time to do a thorough examination, get a detailed medical and familial history, as well as explain everything in laymen’s terms. She will not rush you out, nor will she make you feel uncomfortable. One appointment and you will know that she is on your side.

The visit was thorough and very professional. The staff are welcoming and caring. The doctor is excellent. The doctor is a good listener and skillfull, very caring and concerned towards the patients. Dr. Hutchinson is both kind and thorough. Even though her specialty is cardiology and electrophysiology, she thinks about the entire patient and considers all issues that could improve my overall health and well-being. Also, the referrals that she has given me over the years have been excellent (orthopaedic, gastroenterology etc)! She's the best!
