Dr. Kibuule is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in spinal injuries and disorders. He completed his medical degree at the University of Texas, Southwestern, followed by residencies in Orthopaedic Surgery at both Creighton University and the University of Nebraska. He further honed his expertise with a fellowship in Spine Surgery at William Beaumont Hospital. Dr. Kibuule is specially trained to perform minimally invasive spine surgery and has a special interest and extensive experience in the treatment of adult scoliosis, spinal deformities, and motion-preserving procedures.
During his medical training, Dr. Kibuule participated in numerous research endeavors and has written papers and book chapters pertaining to low back pain in adolescent patients, lumbar spinal stenosis, cervical disc arthroplasty, and surgical approaches to the spine.
His expertise in spine surgery has led him to teach other surgeons nationwide about new cutting-edge surgical techniques and minimally invasive approaches to the spine.

The entire staff was friendly and professional throughout the entire appointment. Dr. Kibuule was just wonderful. He was attentive and concerned about my condition. The treatment plan was exactly what I
needed. The ONLY issue is the TV in the waiting room, it was too loud and intrusive. I was trying to fill out forms and focus on them but it was just a bit too loud.

What a lazy doctor. He didn’t even have the decency to come and greet me in the room before denying his time being wasted. He wanted me to go to a physical therapist. Saying that he’s for real spinal issues and he needs a LOP. Although I kept telling his team, I am not here for a car accident but for a diagnosed issue. Instead of him taking time to be in detail and empathize with his patients, he sits in whatever office and continues to have a medical assistant transfer the message in which she was a piece of work as well. She asked for my entire medical login. They didn’t even contact the hospital for my scans before like they called me and said they were going to do. However, all of that could have been avoided, had he took his lazy cost and hung it up! I guess his time is so precious, he doesn’t even want to look at you until he has what he needs. Poor excuse for a doctor! Although, the reason it was missing is because of his absence. That’s the irony of it all.

I was seen by Dr. Kibuule. He was nice knowledgeable and gave me some advice on what I can do to help my back issues instead of pushing medication for the problem. The wait was over an hour due to me needing an Xray and only one tech. But overall everyone being seen was in & out.. I’m with my visit satisfied, and would recommend. Double pints for having the Xray done in office than being sent else where.

Fabulous patient experience outside of the extended wait time but couldn’t have asked for a better visit. Dr Kibuule should should conduct symposiums on bedside manner to his colleagues. They could stand to learn a thing or two.

Dr. Kibuule is fantastic—wonderful bedside manner and thoroughly explains your condition and treatment plan. Unfortunately, while polite, the staff at the Texas Regional Clinic is where things fall short. At my initial appointment, Dr.Kibuule prescribed a med that was never sent to my pharmacy. I called the office to inquire and was told the doctor hadn't signed off on it, and it would not be sent by his M.A. until he did. I expressed my confusion because the doctor prescribed it for me; I hadn't requested it. They were NO help.
To get a resolution, I had to wait until after hours to leave a message with the answering service for Dr. Kibuule. He called immediately, and within minutes the pharmacy informed me that my Rx was in process. The doctor even sent a text through the secure portal apologizing; again, he's a great doctor.
Since then, they haven't put through a treatment referral and haven't returned my calls or emails regarding an Rx request or my inquiry about the referral.
