“I have said this before, and I will say it again. When people come to a doctor's office even for a checkup, they are nervous. Especially a senior which I am, everyone was courteous and friendly. I received immediate attention and was treated in a way that has and will make me continue to recommend your office. Best wishes”

About Dr. Leonard Treihaft
Leonard Treihaft, MD is a member of Summit Health's Internal Medicine team. Dr. Treihaft is a board certified internal medical specialist with over 25 years of experience. He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY in 1991. After graduating, he went on to complete an internal medicine residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY. During his initial residency, Dr. Treihaft was awarded Resident of the Year in 1994. He was subsequently appointed as the Chief Medical Resident at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. After his time as Chief Medical Resident, he started his own practice before joining the doctors at North Shore Medical Group and then Summit Health.

The physicians are very competent, as is the professional staff. The layout of the office, especially the hallways, waiting area and the rooms where tests are administered, are very cramped.
