About Dr. Li Biao Jiao
Dr. Bill (LiBiao) Jiao, Ph.D., L.Ac. CMD.
Dr. Jiao holds a Doctor of Medicine in Acupuncture and Tuina from Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Bachelor’s and master’s in acupuncture. He is also certified as an International TCM Physician (CMD) by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. As a disciple of Professor Zhang Jin, a recognized inheritor of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Project “Traditional Acupuncture of Chinese Medicine,” Dr. Jiao has dedicated his career to advancing traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
Having studied Qigong, Tai Chi, and traditional Chinese medicine under his father and renowned martial arts masters from a young age, Dr. Jiao has accumulated over 30 years of clinical experience. He has served in several renowned medical institutions and teaching roles in China and established his clinics in the United States. Actively involved in public service and academic endeavors, Dr. Jiao has held key positions in professional associations, edited commemorative journals and professional publications for acupuncture licensing associations, and has published numerous papers. His contributions have been widely recognized, including being awarded the U.S. Presidential Volunteer Service Gold Medal by the White House.

I have been seeing Dr. Jiao for over 10 years for managing anxiety issues, and I have found his herbal tea recipes to be highly effective at treating the symptoms. I can’t say how the treatment compares to Western medicine, but I can say that choosing his methods has kept me away from running to a western doctor for prescription strength anxiety medications, something that I have always been against and plan to stay away from. With that said, Dr. Jiao’s herbal teas are 100% natural, consisting of roots, leaves, flowers, seeds, and bark, that you brew into a tea. He also has instant powder formulas for those that want something easy to prepare, but I highly recommend you opt for the wholesome material and cook your own teas (1 hour in ceramic pot). Dr. Jiao also offers acupuncture, which you may or may not need depending on your condition - personally, I have found the herbals to be sufficient in my situation. I highly recommend giving Dr. Jiao and TCM a chance to treat you.

I had frozen shoulder pain, and my shoulders were so painful that I couldn't lift my arms. My cousin, who had visited Dr. Jiao's clinic and had his back pain cured, recommended me to see Dr. Jiao. After four sessions of acupuncture, combined with some home exercises he taught me, my shoulder pain has greatly improved. Dr. Jiao's acupuncture expertise is exceptional, and he truly cares about his patients’ well-being. ??????

Right eye infection, and cannot see, was bulging red and infect, with his techniques we were able to reduce the swelling. Immediate effect, will need to visit a few more times to see if we can heal this completely! Highly recommended!

Dr Jiao is one of the best acupuncturists I have visited so far. H listens to your need and adjust the treatment accordingly. Beside of treating my lower back issue, he also helps me on my diet on losing 7 lbs. It will be great if he opens another office in Brooklyn.

For many years, I've been going to Dr. Jiao for acupuncture therapy to treat various health issues including back/shoulders pain, seasonal allergies, and digestive disorders. He has all the components that make me feel really secure, knowing he is my doctor. Dr. Jiao is extremely intelligent, honest, ethical, patient, professional and exceptionally knowledgeable. His office offers TuiNa therapy and traditional Chinese medicine. He has remarkable diagnostic skills. His staffs are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend him.
