Sharlynn Cares Psychiatry is dedicated to providing mental health care services. Appointments are offered via Telepsychiatry for the state of Florida. As a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from South University and a Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Miami, I have experience treating clients aged 5 years and older.
We must work together to drastically lower suicide rates and begin finding solutions to the mental health crisis. Thank you for taking the time to learn about Sharlynn Cares, LLC.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Initial intakes are 45minutes & up where the client will be assessed for psychiatric conditions. Provider will interview clients in order to ascertain the best treatment options. Talk therapy could be provided to clients who are unable to schedule for therapist sooner or are currently on waiting list for therapist.

Miss Lidia is really great, and insightful. Helpful and is wonderful at her job. She will definitely do what she must, to make sure that you are taken care of, no matter what. Time will always be made for a client if absolutely necessary.

She told me to quit my medication cold turkey despite the notorious withdrawal effects from it. I tried to communicate how bad it was when I only missed 2 days worth but she didn't listen and expected me to comply.
This medication helps me and she didn't know enough of my history from a 30 minute consultation. Admittedly, I'm not a great verbal communicator, I didn't elaborate and she misunderstood. I tried to explain the misunderstanding and tell her all of my diagnoses but she steamrolled me and didn't let me finish. That should have effected what she prescribed. I clammed up at the end and said okay but I never filled her prescription or stopped my medication.
I value my new doctors' opinions and trust that she is hearing my concerns. If she gave the same diagnosis and prescription, then I would comply.
Please listen to your patients and explain your reasoning in layman's terms. You don't live in my body, I'm not going to needlessly suffer.

Dr Gladney is super talented at her job, she listens, does her best to assist and works with all patients without bias! She really pays attention to what you say and takes an interest in you so when you check in she actually knows you it’s not like being pushed in an out of an appointment and your dr has to read your whole chart to know your name. Lidia is always on top of things and very helpful. She allows joins the meeting for our appointments on time, and is always trying to make things easier on my end even if it means she has to do extra on her end. All being said I would highly recommend her.
