About Dr. Liliana Llopart-Herrera
Liliana Llopart-Herrera, MD attended Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine, Bayamón, PR – graduating with her medical degree in 2018. Post-medical school, Dr. Herrera completed her medical Residency at VA Caribbean Healthcare System – where she specialized in Internal Medicine. After growing up in a family of clinical educators and witnessing many health disparities affect her community, she felt called to serve others by practicing medicine. Dr. Herrera is most passionate about educating her patients on preventive care and yearly checkups — as she believes prevention is key and staying up to date with screenings is important to avoid many chronic illnesses.
Dr. Herrera loves earning her patient’s trust and seeing the positive impact she has on their lives through her care. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and is a member of the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association. In her free time, Dr. Herrera enjoys cooking and trying new foods, dancing, and cycling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

The front desk was not very helpful at the beginning, but the nurse and the doctor were great. They were friendly and listened to my concerns and were accommodating.

Gosh at least this doctor listened to my needs!!!!! I was given a whole bunch of anti-depressants from different doctors for neuropathy pain that I accrued from the Marines (winged scapula) which was stacked on top of my other antidepressants that I take for military PTSD. She was able to condense them for me. So instead of eight meds I am down to five, she was able to see where I was in pain and needed help!!! So glad I got this figured out with her. No other office would listen to me!!!! I know this doesn't make a difference for some, but with her being a female, as well as I, I felt way more comfortable. I had a male doctor before her, tell me to suck it up I was a Marine and gave birth to five kids. He was so rude. Dr. Llopart was able to see that my condition was severe enough to warrant some different avenue of pain control. I would recommend her to anyone.
