About Dr. Lilly Zhu
A Chicago native, Dr. Zhu earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Stanford University, graduating with honors and distinction. She moved to Nashville in 2011 to start her medical education at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She continued at Vanderbilt University for an intern year in Internal Medicine. This was followed by dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University where she served as chief resident during her final year. Dr. Zhu enjoys practicing the full spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Zhu and her husband are avid hikers, Netflix appreciators, and novice star-gazers.

Dr Zhu is very friendly and easy to talk to. She is compassionate and listens well. My only hesitation is recommending her is that it will become harder to get an appointment. I drive an hour to see her.

I had a great experience with Dr. Zhu. She was thorough, spoke clearly about what she was doing, had a good bedside manner and my treatment was quick and relatively painless. I would recommend her for sure.

I went for an annual skin screening, and Dr. Zhu and the assistant both made me feel at ease before, during, and after the exam (I tend to get anxious before medical visits so this was a big plus for me!). Dr. Zhu explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. The front desk staff I interacted with were friendly as well!

this was the most thorough dermatologist i’ve ever had, and she extremely kind and informative. i have hypochondria and she explained many of my moles and freckles to me. it was a great experience and i will definitely go back.
