I had high hopes for Dr. Lu but it is not working out. She's very sweet during sessions but there seems to be a lack of accountability and clarity on her end when it comes to hyper focusing on non issues, time management and communication with her patients.
Several refill dates have been delayed (by weeks) and I was not told that she was unable to fill prescriptions which was the sole reason I was seeing her in addition to my long term therapist.
Today she shortly mentioned she will not be treating me any longer. I would’ve appreciated the courtesy of an email at minimum (vs. the after thought that I had to prompt 4 days after my refill was due).
In her defense she did provide a 2 week refill so that I can find another doctor to make up for the mistake. Her office admin is also incredibly nice and professional.
All in all I'll be seeking more dependable care. Proceed with caution. Also, I have an incredible therapist that I love at Lifestance and do love the company overall!
