Getting to know Linda Daniel-dim
This is a safe, judgment-free space where you can speak openly. Together, we will explore your goals and begin building a personalized treatment plan. The first session is about listening, building trust, and starting your journey towards healing.
My approach to treatment includes understanding the whole person, your experiences and symptoms, lifestyle, and goals to help develop a personalized treatment plan that may include therapy, lifestyle modification when appropriate, and medication management. I use evidence-based practice to help individuals manage conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and more.
I work with kids from 6 years old up, teens, and adults. I have had the experience to treat people who suffer from conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, insomnia, mood disorder, ADHD, ADD, tobacco, substance, and alcohol use.
My communication style is open, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I listen without judgment.
What attracted me to a career in mental health was my deep desire to understand and support people through their emotional and psychological struggles. I began my journey as a mental health technician, where I witnessed firsthand the impact of compassionate care on individuals. That experience inspired me to pursue my Bachelor's in Nursing to expand my knowledge and clinical skills, and later a Master's as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Today, I am honored to walk alongside my patients, offering them hope, healing, and personalized care.
As a mental health nurse practitioner, I approach goal setting by working collaboratively with patients to create realistic, personalized objectives that support their overall well-being. We will focus on small, achievable steps that promote long-term progress and empower the patient in their healing journey.
